A lot of projects (in particular residential) require Water Board Agreement for the works. This is because the locations of the proposed extensions and / or new buildings affect existing water board assets in one of the following ways:-
- Building over existing public foul sewers.
- Building near to existing public foul sewers.
- Making new connections into existing public foul sewers.
- Diverting existing public foul sewers to avoid extensions or new buildings.
At Belvoir Architecture we know what to look out for when designing our projects, and are highly experienced in design to all of the above constraints.
We prepare Water Board compliant designs, submit the applications to the Water Board on behalf of the client, follow the process through to a signed legal agreement and then provide the contractors with approved designs to work from.
We have built a strong working relationship with the Water Boards Drainage Engineer’s and Clerk of Works, and this ensures compliant practical designs are achieved as swiftly as possible.
